We’ve got Sergeant Scott Mackenzie’s back as he prepares for a half marathon to raise money in support of premature babies.

When Scott’s daughter Addie was born in June last year, she was five and a half weeks early.  Addie received amazing care in the Hobart Private Hospital Special Care Nursery and she’s now 9 months old and thriving.

“Things could have been very different if it wasn’t for the lifesaving equipment available to Addie, and we want to make sure other families have the same opportunities,” he said.

Scott’s now in training for the Running for Premature Babies fundraiser in the Hobart Airport Marathon on 2 April 2023.

The Tasmania Police Charity Trust was pleased to boost Scott’s donations with a $1000 contribution.
