The Tasmania Police Charity Trust has a proud history of helping the most vulnerable and at-risk members of our community.

It was established in 2006 to provide the opportunity for Tasmania Police and State Service employees to raise funds to support children and young people in need. The Trust is administered through the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency  Management (DPFEM), so 100% of funds raised go to those who need it.

 The Charity Trust is run by a Board and members volunteer their time to identify fundraising opportunities and recipients for donations. Fund raisers include the Charity Trust Bike Ride, Golf Day and quiz nights. And each fortnight DPFEM staff donate to the Trust through salary deductions.
